Training Conference on Standardization Work of Constructing Service-oriented Government Is Held in Mianyang

(Mianyang News) the newly-revised "Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China" will be launched in January 1, 2018. On December 8, Mianyang held the training conference on the standardization work of constructing service-oriented government. The meeting announced to carry out the newly-revised "Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China", to assure that the principal leaders of the municipal government enhance the memorandum spirit of the standardization work and the service department construction work, to boost the awareness of standardization of the whole city government departments, and to promote the construction of the service-oriented government.

From the perspective of the legislative process and major breakthroughs in the new law, the conference thoroughly and carefully interpreted the newly-revised Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China, which has important and far-reaching significance for improving the quality of products and services and promoting economic and social development. Hou Chaohua, the vice director and senior engineer of the provincial standardization research institute, was also invited to give lessons. Mr. Hou explained from four aspects: the basic concepts of standardization, the principles of standard system construction, the principles of standard compilation, and the standardization process of government service.

The participants all said, after listening to the comprehensive interpretation and the whole process of the administrative service standardization construction work of the newly-revised "Standardization Law of the People's Republic of China", they deeply felt that the revised standardization law has been involving all aspects of social and economic life, from the legislative purpose to the design of the specific system. Strengthening standardization will help improve the quality of products and services, improve the level of economic and social development, enhance the satisfaction of government services, and point out the direction for future work.

The next step is to conscientiously learn the advanced experience and practice from standardization construction, to enhance awareness of standardization, and to serve people better according to higher standards and higher requirements, so as to benefit the society and create a service-oriented government that satisfies all people.
