Tea Producing Enterprises Achieves Sales of 6 Million Yuan in the 7th China (Sichuan) International Tea Fair

Recently, the 7th China (Sichuan) International Tea Fair, with the theme that focuses on promoting Sichuan tea to go global and communication and sharing was held at the Chengdu Century City New International Convention & Exhibition Center. The Tea Fair will present the development in Sichuan tea and recommend famous brand tea all around the world by presentations, trade promotions, cultural exchanges and cooperation, so as to promote the exchanges and cooperation between Sichuan tea and other tea brands to help Sichuan tea to go global. The event organizer invited over 800 tea producing companies and tea set producing companies from various countries and regions such as Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Japan, Pakistan and India, and companies from 20 provinces in China. Mianyang established two exhibition halls, Beichuan exhibition hall and Pingwu exhibition hall to present the results we achieved in the poverty alleviation with tea industries in poor areas. We will mainly recommend two brands, Beichuan Taizi Tea and Pingwu Green Tea. Mianyang invited 13 tea producing companies with 98 products covering green tea, black tea, dark green tea and white tea to the tea fair, and their products were very popular among many distributors and buyers.

Statistics show that the tea producing companies in Mianyang achieved sales of 6.065 million yuan in the tea fair, including on-site sales of 215,000 yuan and contract sales of 5.85 million yuan. Jiu Long Gu Tea Co., Ltd. in Beichuan Qiang Autonomous County and Shaanxi Basket Food Co., Ltd. entered into a cooperative investment agreement in which they will invest 8 million yuan to establish Beichuan Ancient Tea Tree Protection and Tea Processing Industry Park.
