Mianyang Airport Introduces Paperless Boarding Pass

Scan your mobile boarding pass to get on board

Mianyang Airport announced that from June 15, passengers can check in online via mobile platform and select their seats one to two days before their flights. Passengers can just scan their mobile boarding pass when they board. As a regional airport in the southwest China, Mianyang Airport is the first one to introduce paperless boarding pass and it will be effective from June 15, which marks another big step to a smart airport for Mianyang.

The traditional paper boarding will be replaced by a moblie boarding pass. Passengers can check-in online and select their seats via the wechat account of Mianyang Airport, APPs from airlines such as Spring Airlines, Jiuyuan Airlines and Umetrip one to two days before their flights and get their mobile boarding pass. Passengers just need to scan their mobile boarding pass when they go through the security check and get on board. For passengers who need to take care of their baggage at the check-in counter, they can use their ID card and mobile passing board for the baggage check-in.

With the launch of Hang Xin Tong system, passengers not only can select their seats online, but also save their time of waiting in line to finish check-in, which will improve their user experience at the airport.
